The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp

Every Day 3a ET

  • About

The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp is the first Western television series written for adults, prompting the rise of Westerns on the small screen. It stars Hugh O’Brian as the gunslinging Wyatt Earp. The series portrays Marshal Earp keeping the peace, first in Kansas and later in Arizona. Though it’s only loosely based on the real-life Earp, it had many episodes portraying actual historical events like the famous shootout at the O.K. Corral and characters based on Doc Holliday, Bat Masterson, and the Clanton Gang.
